Wow, what a week! I had the absolute pleasure of attending Glitter and Goals with the amazing Charlie Day. Let me tell you, this seminar really made me stop and think about my goals—so many goals! But here’s the thing: it’s not just about having them; it’s about honing in on them.
The day was packed with inspiration, and one of the standout moments for me was a session with the fabulous Faye Mac. She asked for volunteers, and you know me – I jumped at the chance! The task? Holding as many balls as I could in my arms to demonstrate how taking on loads of low-ticket offers might feel manageable at first but ultimately leads to overwhelm. And guess what? I dropped them. No matter how determined I was, I physically couldn’t hold onto them all. The message hit home: we can’t do everything, and chasing small wins isn’t always the way to grow sustainably.
But it wasn’t just about the lessons – it was about the people. I spent the day surrounded by friends, clients, and wonderful connections I’ve made throughout my journey. These events aren’t just educational; they’re incredible networking opportunities. Talking about what I do, sharing my expertise, and connecting with new people made me feel so energised. As always a bit over excited!
In fact, I came away with fresh leads! Today alone, I sent out three emails to people I met at the event. Because I had that face-to-face connection, I wasn’t nervous or overthinking – I just did it. And it reminded me of something powerful: people buy from people. Showing up, being genuine, and sharing what you’re passionate about is what builds those client relationships.
Glitter and Goals with the amazing Charlie Day – was a brilliant day and I cannot recommend her enough! Check out Charlie Day today!
